These beautiful heather grey shirts are 100% cotton. The design incorporates traditional and contemporary tattoo elements representing our connection to the 'āina, the heavens, and the sea. The incorporation of our 'aumākua and the budding ferns (Kupua'e), is a reminder to utilize the knowledge learned from our kūpuna to educate and nurture our keiki - E Nānā I Ke Kumu.
This shirt was specifically designed for the 2nd Annual Papakōlea Pā‘ina, scheduled for Saturday, August 12th, themed E Nānā I Ke Kumu. The pre-sale t-shirts are priced at a reduced rate. On the day of the event, prices will increase. Proceeds shall be used to support the establishment of the Papakōlea Community Scholarship Program, and other educational initiatives.
The Pā‘ina is coordinated by the Papakōlea Community Development Corporation, Kula No Nā Po'e Hawai'i, and the Genoa Keawe Foundation. For more information about the event or shirts, call 520.8998, e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org, or visit www.papakolea.org.
